Bespoken is a New York-based menswear design collective, formed by two sets of brothers: James, Liam, and Sam Fayed and Paulo and Carlos Goncalves. Launched in Fall 2009, the brand’s collections add modern and sartorial details to existing classic fabrics and construction techniques to produce clothing that has the fit and quality of a bespoke piece. As defined by the brand name, they create garments that have “been spoken for.” With its roots firmly planted in English tailoring, much of its manufacturing comes out of the legendary Turnbull & Asser of England. Bespoken takes great pride in using mills that have been producing first-rate fabrics from as far back as the late 1700s. It is for this commitment to traditional methods and quality, albeit with a modern eye, that Bespoken was selected to produce the uniforms for The NoMad Hotel.
